FESTIVUS DUAL SPORT RALLY
December 7th & 8th
The FESTIVUS DUAL SPORT RALLY is a two day event. It is a non-competitive, self-guided tour. There will be approximately 100 miles of riding through desert (Saguaro cactus, Ocotillos, Prickly Pear, etc.) and mountains (6,000 feet) East of Tucson. The routes are a combination of dirt roads and jeep trails, with plenty of scenic areas for photo opportunities.
Last year we staged at a remote Ranch where most people chose to camp and enjoy the nightly campfire. This seems to be the most liked scenario so we are doing the same thing at a different ranch in Cascabel, AZ. Rex Dalton, our authentic cowboy friend, will be providing breakfast each morning and the banquet for Saturday night. His two sons will be joining him to cook from his 100 year old chuck wagon. This also is our most liked setup. Great food and great fun.
This is a dual sport ride so all motorcycles must be street legal, licensed, and insured. All riders must have a valid motorcycle driver’s license.
GPS routes will be provided via email the week before the event. There will be no roll charts; however, there will be guided tours for anyone who chooses.
Come on down and enjoy the great weather and scenery!
